ABOUT US
THE TEAM. Contributors of Autism Rockstars are professionals, people with ASD and family members of individuals with ASD. Our team of professionals consists of dedicated and caring: speech-language pathologists, special education teachers, occupational therapists, physical therapists and behavior specialists .
THE CRISIS. The crisis is appropriately and effectively teaching individuals with ASD. There is an immense diversity of skill-sets. Adaptation of programming and creativity of materials to address individualistic learning styles is critical and invaluable. The contributing factors of this crisis are:
-Adaptation of programming takes an immense amount of time experience.
-Creating materials to go with programming takes a lot of time to make.
-Teacher responsibilities and often crowded classroom severely impact their ability to make necessary adjustments to programming and create individualized materials.
THE SOLUTION. We at Autism Rockstars, want to share tips, ideas, programming and materials to help others. We strive to make a positive educational and life quality difference for individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder.
